تقول المعلومات ان في قديما حينما جاء وقت تعيين اسقف لنيواورليانز قام كبير الاساقفة الشاذ جنسياً رالف بدعم صديقة الذي كان يمارس معه الشذوذ جنسيا جون ليكون اسقف لهذه المدينة وكان معروف عن جون انه يمارس الشذوذ مع فليب الاول ملك فرنسا.
واصبح جون الاسقف الشاذ في عام 1098

2- القديس بولونيوس اسقف نولا Saint Paulinus (Paolino) of Nola

عرف عنه براعته في الشعر والخطابة
كانت هناك تكهنات حول كونه شاذ جنسيا لانه ارسل خطابات شعرية مريبة لصديقه اسنيوس Ausonius برغم ان حكاية شذوذه لم يذكرها المشتغلين بكتابة السير الشخصية

At least one of the letters to Ausonius has led to speculation that Paulinus may have been homosexual although this interpretation has not been supported by other biographers.

3-سرجيوس وباخوس الشهيدين

تم ذكرهم بحسب الـ martyrology ) ترتيب وقائمة للقديسين والشهداء في المسيحية ) بانهم erastai وهي كلمة مقابلها الانجليزي lover اي عشاق

Erastai means "lovers", and in the oldest ************************ of the martyrology of Sergius and Bacchus they are described as "erastai", or lovers.

وخلال العصور الوسطي اعتبرت العلاقة بين باخوس وسرجيوس مثال على الوحدة المبنية على الحنان والالفة او حتى الزواج المبني على الحب العميق وتزوجوا بعد ذلك واجريت لهم المراسم الخاصة بذلك Adelphopoiesis وهي تعني المراسم التي كانت تقام في اروبا قديما للزواج بين المثليين :
